I'm totally dumbfounded and very saddened for our country. I am also fearful for the less fortunate and those regularly discriminated against, because it may be very bad for them. I hope that I am wrong!

Late Winter Return-My Favorite!

Trader Joe's Great Prices on Two Excellent Red Blends in Dallas, TX

I don't shop Trader Joe's regularly primarily because it's not convenient for me. I have known for a year that they carry Cocobon for $6.99

 

On a recent visit to buy that wine, I discovered that know also carry Apothic Red for the same price for now. These two wines are very drinkable and affordable. 

Get to Trader Joe's, at least in Dallas, and stock up on excellent red blends at a rock bottom price!

Great New Red Blend from Washington State

This Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah blend from Washington State is outstanding! I tasted this wine at a Kroger in Dallas recently, and it has become one of my favorite wines. It retails from $12-15 and is well worth the price.

Another Elevation Beer Company Offering

I recently found this brewery's replacement for their Wildflowers beer from a recent post at On Rotation in Dallas, Texas. While I do like the beer and would recommend it to anyone, it is not as good as Wildflowers.

Nebraska Brewing Company

This is my second beer from the fairly large, diverse beer portfolio from Nebraska Brewing. After speaking with the brewery and their local distributor several times, I finally found this beer in Dallas through the Brewery's Twitter feed at Webb Chapel Beer & Wine, a small convenience store in NW Dallas. It was a 34 mile round trip for me.

It is a very good beer. However, I like their Melange A Trois better which was my first beer of theirs. I am happy to report that they are expanding their presence in Texas which is great news for craft beer lovers! Please check out their website for further information.
